Montreal Museums
Open House and
Visit to Maison St-Gabriel
Sunday, May 29, 2016
On May 29, 2016, Montreal museums held an open house. We invited all Messiers to gather on the steps of the Pointe-à-Callière Museum in Old Montreal to enjoy this beautiful day. Seven people accepted the invitation.
After touring the remains of Montreal’s fortifications, the cemetery, and the underground sewers, we headed to the land of our ancestor, Michel Messier, at the corner of McGill and St-Paul streets. Afterwards, we stopped for lunch at Nelson’s Restaurant before continuing the afternoon at Maison St-Gabriel. A few photos illustrate this gathering.
