At the end of the mass, we will listen the messages of the dignitaries:

                            Stephane Bergeron, deputy (MP) for Vercheres circumscription,

                            Denis LeBlanc, representing Martin Damphouse, Mayor of Varennes,

                            Jacques Dalpé, President of the « Société d’histoire de Varennes »,

                            Jean-Pierre Messier, celebrant and

                            Richard Leonardo, President of our Association.

After that, there will be an unveiling of the plaque commemorating the fact that Michel Messier and Anne LeMoyne were buried in the basement of the church as promised in the agreement signed between Michel Messier and the priest of Varennes, Claude Volant de St Claude in 1718.

Will follow a visit of the basilica to admire the picture of St. Michael the Archangel and visit the shrine of St. Marguerite d’Youville.
